On the 31st of August 2024, in Kapilvastu Taulihawa, a significant event took place under the initiative of the Nepal Zakat Foundation. The event marked the distribution of rickshaws as part of an income-generating project aimed at empowering local communities. The project, titled "Income Generating Project: Rickshaw Distribution 2024," seeks to provide a sustainable livelihood to individuals in need.

 The income generating project depict a sense of gratitude and hope among the recipients. The rickshaws, made of wood and iron painted in  in vibrant blue and   loaded with fresh vegetables, were distributed to local beneficiaries, who also expressed their thanks to the Nepal Zakat Foundation. This initiative is a part of the foundation’s broader efforts to support underprivileged communities by providing them with tools and resources to generate income independently.

The rickshaws are designed for selling vegetables and fruits , a common trade in the region, ensuring that the recipients have a ready means of earning a livelihood. The event was  well-organized, with the rickshaws lined up for distribution in kapilvastu taulihawa , with a thoughtful and community-centric approach by the Nepal Zakat Foundation.

This project not only supports economic empowerment but also fosters a sense of dignity and self-reliance among the beneficiaries, contributing positively to the local economy in Kapilvastu district.
